Edward Hopper – The Underprivileged Artist
[ssba]

Edward Hopper, born in 1882, was a painter with exceptional talent that unfortunately, as usual, was recognized after the end of his life.

Up to his 40 he remained in obscurity, away from galleries and artistic happenings.

In his 80, Time magazine hosts him on its cover and presented the artist for the first time.

Today, a century after his death that took place in 1967, he is considered one of the most important representatives of modern expressionism that possessed a unique perception of the landscapes and the people’s mood that he portrayed.

Taschen publishes a collection that depicts his paintings giving the opportunity to all lovers of the Third Art to meet and admire Edward Hopper.
