After his big success with “Οpus” and “Elvedon”, Christos Papadopoulos is coming back to the stage with his new work, Ion. For the first time at Onassis Cultural Center a living system of 10 dancers tests our powers of observation with imperceptible changes and noiseless transitions, in order to reveal the fragility of human relations that validate the pace of life, the natural order of things.
The choreographer looks for the mechanisms or the algorithm that lies behind the function of coordination. Nick Knight explores the synchronization of movement and time in Christos Papadopoulos’ choreography through an amazing black and white video.
