Low lighting, rough masonry and water glasses help create a cave atmosphere in this Tokyo restaurant, designed by architect Ryoji Iedokoro. Nikunotoriko is located in the city’s Roppongi area and offers an alternative to yakiniku – a Japanese cuisine style where customers bake pieces of meat over a small mesh on their table. In the main dining room, located on the ground floor, the walls are made to look like rocks while a 6.5 meters glass table in the center of the room dominates.
