Greek heritage and tradition take center stage in the new “Footprints” campaign that showcases a modern interpretation of aesthetics. At the same time, however, it captures the journey of KALOGIROU, which, for more than 130 years, has proven to withstand the test of time and manages to regenerate. Drawing inspiration from its legacy and timeless appeal to audiences, KALOGIROU celebrates its legacy that has influenced and shaped countless generations with unparalleled style.

In the new ‘Footprints’ campaign, sculpture and the art of knitting are deified. There, in the marble landscape, time is sculpted to make our imprint more alive. Unique. The eternal marble is carved, a braid is woven to symbolize basket weaving, the clay crackles. Through its wrinkles the well-hidden secret of endurance and regeneration is revealed. Two white doves depict hope and, through the symbolism of duality, the relationship between mind and matter gets interpreted. Until harmony comes, until we step firmly into the new era.

Once again, the KALOGIROU campaign comes up with a new code to present the new collection. This year, elegance, sturdiness and sharp refinement lead the way. Designs inspired by the art of knitting, sandals, straw bags, leather sandals, mesh ballerinas, men’s loafers and other footwear and bags compose a fresh aesthetic universe. History meets the future. It is the legacy of KALOGIROU that since 1890 has recorded the steps of the country’s history.

It is in our nature to desire to leave our mark, our imprint on this world. In the final scene, the bare footprints enliven the marble, give it an extra sheen, a new life. Just like the imprint that KALOGIROU has provided on our history: always stable, always renewing, always one step ahead.
