Minimalism meets majesty at Palazzo Daniele where monastic décor exaggerates the grandeur of ceiling frescoes and standalone art and design pieces.In the nine suites, bare walls feature the cracks of time and monastic beds take center stage…serving to exaggerate the grandeur of original ceiling frescoes and mosaic flooring. Ludovica + Roberto Palomba turned the building’s layout around, converting the ground floor living areas into spaces for exhibiting art. At the back of the building, the guestrooms and gathering spots look onto a series of courtyards. Historical features, meanwhile, such as the property’s 19th-century chapel, have been restored.
