Two weeks before the New Year, the 5th season of the television series “Yellowstone” was completed. In the finale, John Dutton’s ranch, which caused so much commotion, is taken over by the Indians, the original owners. It is undoubtedly the most successful production of Paramount, which acquired Netflix, along with the spin-offs “1883” and “1923”, with an average production cost per episode of 20 million dollars. No one knows if there will be a 6th season, since almost everyone has been killed, except for the invincible Beth, the after-image of the series. What is considered certain is the expansion of the streaming platform’s collaboration with screenwriter and producer Taylor Sheridan, the creator of “Yellowstone”. Writing everything himself, he also writes the spy thriller “Lioness”, the mafia comedy “Tulsa King”, with the “resurrected” Sylvester Stalone, the police adventure “Mayor of Kingstone”, and “Landman”, a story of oil producers in Texas, where Billy Bob Thornton gives an unforgettable performance. Are we finished? Not quite. One of his next projects is “6666”, from the name of the ranch that Sheridan, head of an investment group, bought for 350 million dollars. Its area amounts to 1,400,000 acres, and there, in Texas, our man moved with his wife Nicole and their son, living a cowboy life. It is the place where he writes the imaginative scripts for the remaining series that will accompany us until it is decided whether or not to continue “Yellowstone.”
