Gentlemen 1919. At first glance, it’s a simple barber shop in the heart of Paris on Rue Jean Mermoz, a stone’s throw from the Arc de Triomphe. Yet at the back of the shop, through a hidden door, is a veritable cocktail bar, adorned with some 80 labels of rum and whisky. Visitors enter a retro-decorated space that immerses them in the atmosphere of 1920s Prohibition.

The Chesterfield armchairs will also cater for cigar fanatics, with the shop offering a wide selection from countries such as Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Brazil and Honduras, with products being refreshed every month. In addition to grooming services, Gentlemen 1919, offers shoe repair and rejuvenation. A barber shop -secret retreat- that has a strong identity and distinctive services.
