More than 100 iconic photographs and works by renowned photographer Richard Avedon are on display at the Palazzo Reale in Milan. In the exhibition, there is a special section on the collaboration between Avedon and Gianni Versace, which began with the campaign for the Versace Spring-Summer 1980 collection, until 1998, the first designed by Donatella Versace. Also on display are a selection of portraits of celebrities from the world of showbiz, actors, dancers, musicians as well as civil rights activists, politicians, and writers. The latter topic was merged into The Family section, created in 1976 for Rolling Stone magazine, which documented the US political power elite. The exhibition runs until January 29, 2023.
