BMW’s R 18 cruiser lineup has gotten a slew of upgrades for 2025. The 1,802cc boxer twin gets a boost in torque to 120 lb-ft while horsepower remains unchanged at 90. Five models make up the R 18 range, from the stripped-down R 18 to the full-dress R 18 Transcontinental. Wheel sizes have been increased on the R 18 and R 18 Classic, with previous sizes available as options. Those two models also get redesigned fenders for a more modern appearance, alongside new finishes and a blacked-out colorway. The R 18 B and Transcontinental have been updated with a Favorites button on the handlebars for direct access to functions like grip heating without going through the instrument cluster menu. The new R 18 lineup will hit dealers in the second quarter of 2025.
