Rare and Collectible

A limited-production grand tourer built by Italian automaker Iso Autoveicoli S.p.A. between 1965 and 1974 to compete with the Grand Tourings from Ferrari and Maserati was the Iso Grifo. It used a number of American components supplied by Chevrolet and Ford. Styling was done by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone, while the mechanicals was the work of Giotto Bizzarrini. This particular 1971 model in black with contrasting white leather interior is being auctioned by Sotheby’s and is expected to attract the interest of collectors for a price that could approach seven figures.
