The Norwegian-based architecture firm A38 Arkitekter has been providing us with some very impressive and innovative constructions for almost half a century. Also highly impressive is their latest project “Annex Oppdal”, in the Oppdal region of Norway, which was created together with the local TV program ‘Adventurous Renovations’ and stands out for its diamond-shaped design. The main goal was to create a quiet country house, away from the noise of the city. It stands out for its large windows that offer an impressive view of the snowy landscape and its entire interior paneling with wood. The whole structure is built on a heavy pillar, so the impact on the environment is minimal. From its elevated point, you can admire the valley with its 18th-century buildings and the sky that surrounds them.
