The first reactions to the highly anticipated movie “Wonka”, starring Timothée Chalamet in the title role, are officially here. The prequel to “Charlie and the Charlie Factory” seems to have garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews from most, earning five stars from critics worldwide.

Directed by Paul King, Chalamet plays the famous chocolatier. The film takes place years before Wonka opens the world famous chocolate factory and follows young Wonka as he opens his first store. The film also stars Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Matt Lucas, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Olivia Colman and Hugh Grant alongside Chalamet.

“Wonka” comes to Greek cinemas on 14/12/23.
