How would you like your classic Defender? UK-based Kingsley is building Defender restomods that reinvent the dated platforms for modern driving. Debuting at the Salon Privé Blenheim Palace Concours, the Kingsley D90 and D110 Defenders are rebuilt from the ground up with premium finishes, interiors, and components. Bodies are media blasted, treated with anti-corrosion coatings, and coated in durable ceramic or PPF finishes. Engine choices range from the Puma TDCi, TD5, rebuilt Rover V8s, and LS V8 engines, backed by ZF automatic transmissions. A complete custom suspension and driveline includes custom dampers, springs, swaybars, and bushings; TrueTrac limited-slip differentials and heavy-duty steel driveshafts keep the power to the ground. All Kingsley Defenders are built at their facility in Oxfordshire.
