Lenny Kravitz, beyond his acclaimed career as a rock star, has also made a name for himself in the world of interior design. In 2003, he founded Kravitz Design, a creative studio that blends his musical sensibility with design, delivering projects that radiate soulful elegance — a kind of refinement that speaks to the soul.
Kravitz Design has taken on a diverse range of projects, from luxurious residences to commercial spaces. One of its most iconic works is Hotel de Roxie in Paris — a renovation of a 1920s townhouse named in honor of Kravitz’s mother. The interior blends African, European, and modern influences, creating a space filled with personal objects and artworks, including pieces by Basquiat and Warhol.
In New York, Kravitz Design was behind the interiors of 75 Kenmare, a high-end residential development in Nolita. The spaces are defined by natural materials, neutral tones, and custom-designed furniture by Kravitz himself, evoking a sense of relaxation and warmth.
In Brazil, Kravitz transformed Fazenda São Tomé, an 18th-century estate, into a creative retreat and guest residence, furnished with pieces by renowned Brazilian designers like Oscar Niemeyer and Sergio Rodrigues.
The philosophy behind Kravitz Design is rooted in creating spaces that reflect the personality and story of their owners — merging luxury with comfort and cultural heritage. Each project is a narrative, an experience that connects past and present, art and function.
