It was founded in 1724 and in 2024 it will celebrate 300 years of life! Rémy Martin is a company with a long history in the field of Cognac production .

For those who don’t know, Cognac is a region with a designation of origin in France for the production of brandy, where, if produced to certain specifications from grapes of the region, it can be called Cognac. Louis XIII is produced from vineyards that come only from the famous Grande Champagne region, with the final blend containing over 1,200 different spirits aged 40 to 120 years, while the first carafe was created way back in 1874 under the name “Grande Champagne Very Old – Age Unknown”, later known as Louis XIII.

The name was chosen as a tribute to King Louis XIII of France, who was the first to recognize Cognac as a separate category of spirit. Of course such a spirit cannot be bottled in just any bottle… what is more fitting after all than a Baccarat bottle.

For the first time in a decade, Louis XIII Rare Cask 42.1 is released in a limited number of bottles, where Cognac lovers everywhere can enjoy it in selected locations.

LouisXIII is a unique spirit, its color is amber, on the nose it is elegant and at the same time complex, with strong aromas of flowers, dried and tropical fruits, sweet spices, dark chocolate, honeycomb-honey and tobacco, while in the mouth the alcohol is perfectly integrated. Of course, such a spirit should be tried plain, but it could be combined with many different foods and moments in your day.
