Inspired by the rose-red buildings of old Marrakech and described as a quiet oasis outside the ancient city, Amanjena Palace is located near the fabled Red City, set in its own grounds in gardens with date palms and olive trees in large open spaces. Shaded courtyards with fountains lead to the central reservoir that feeds the gardens in which the guest maisonettes are located, all with private gardens and many with private swimming pools. The views stretch across the olive groves and palm trees of the oasis and reach up to the high Atlas Mountains on the horizon. Activities on offer are numerous, with a visit to the eerie Agafay dunes deep in the desert considered unforgettable. The delightful tranquillity of the resort is complemented by easy access to Medina and the magnificent Moroccan countryside.
