Petit Robustos

One Habanos collection that I really liked was the Petit Robustos. Pretty good variety with five representative Petit Robustos (out of six), very suitable for new connoisseurs, but also for us older ones, since it gave us the opportunity for shorter pleasures in the event of insufficient time. First released in 2012 and later in 2015, this beautiful package has only one downside – it doesn’t include the excellent Hoyo Petit Robusto, but that’s okay, it got us covered with the rest.

There is, of course, the possibility of supplying all the following cigars in a box, but a trial is required before the final purchase. Their size, 102mm with a 50mm ring is what you need for half an hour of morning coffee, and, with five different palettes, it will satisfy even the most demanding. Starting with the beloved & strong Partagas, with classic aromas of cedar, pepper, leather and coffee, we move on to Cohiba with chocolate, spices and vanilla, to end up with the equally strong Montecristo with a more aromatic palette of coffee, vanilla, hazelnut and cocoa. Romeo came out very aromatic to me with citrus, chocolate, honey, vanilla & fruit, and H. Upmann with strong wood and pepper aromas that seemed quite hard and flat to me.

Of course, they all had excellent manufacturing quality and cover all the taste requirements of even the most demanding aficionado, we just have to come up with the most suitable one for each of us. I, for example, as a classic Partagas enthusiast, I don’t think I need to state my opinion. I leave the rest to you and your personal taste preferences.
