Rare art book & vinyl destination

Le Marais district of Paris is home to a number of galleries and bookstores and has long been a meeting point for the French capital’s artistic community. The narrow streets of the third and fourth arrondissements are now home to a new bookstore with rare books as well as vinyls called the ANTI PUBLIC LIBRARY.

Helmed by artist Henri Levy, who is the founder and creative director of the Enfants Riches Deprimes brand, this new bookshop is located next to the brand’s flagship store and aims to be a destination for vinyl and literature lovers. The space’s elegant dark wood trim is complemented by mid-century French furniture by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.

The hybrid shop-bar offers a curated selection of natural wines, Japanese sake and American coffee, along with Russian caviar served with créme fraiche & potato chips. In terms of curation, ANTI PUBLIC LIBRARY offers rare printed products such as publications by American artist Wallace Berman, magazines by Enfants Riches Déprimés, photo titles by Jean Prouvé and more.

The vinyl collection for sale will consist mainly of original pressings from the musical worlds of noise, post punk, industrial, shoegaze and new wave.
