As the 2024 Concorso d’Eleganza sets to unveil at the Villa d’Este in the scenic Cernobbio comune in northern Italy, longtime partner A. Lange & Söhne has also revealed the special edition 1815 Chronograph that’s to be served as the award for the winner of the “Best of Show” category.
The prize piece arrives in a polished white gold case, featuring a salmon-hued dial made from solid 18K pink gold.
On the flip side, the timepiece spotlights a specially hand-engraved hinged cuvette, marked with the year 2024 and inscribed with Concorso d’Eleganza around the periphery. The caseback can also be opened to reveal a transparent crystal sapphire, providing an unobstructed display of the L951.5 Manufacture caliber. Equipped with a flyback function, jumping minute counter, column-wheel control as well as a 60-hour power reserve, the movement is a technical testament to the Maison’s commitment to pursuing innovation and precision.
The 2024 Concorso d’Eleganza will take place between May 24- 26 at the Villa d’Este in Cernobbio, Italy.
