This beautiful 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso is one of the few cars built around 350 GT/L and is Ferrari Classiche certified. It quickly set itself apart from its competition, thanks to the years of engineering knowledge that went into building it, as well as the improvements made to race cars and previous models.
The Ferrari 250 Lusso was first revealed to the public at the Paris Salon in 1962. The sophisticated and undeniably timeless design aesthetic was the work of Pininfarina, while the body was built by Scaglietti. The Lusso was designed as a luxury grand tourer for driver and passenger, with plenty of space for luggage and the ability to cover long distances in comfort.
It became a hit with businessmen and celebrities such as Steve McQueen, but was still produced in extremely limited numbers, with only 350 examples ever produced.
Undoubtedly a must-have for any Ferrari enthusiast or those who enjoy long-distance road trips such as from the Cote d’Azur to the Amalfi Coast, the next driver will surely enjoy the many features of this iconic Ferrari, including the impressive design and its fantastic driving experience.
