Salvatore Lucchese, future founder of Lucchese, was born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. His father, Gaetano Lucchese, was a shoemaker. In 1883 Salvatore Lucchese immigrated to the United States of America. He arrives in Galveston, Texas by ship, which sailed from Palermo, Italy. Salvatore Lucchese arrived with his brother Joseph Lucchese.

Today, the company manufactures the most iconic pairs of boots in the world, with authentic Italian aesthetics and quality – but has also taken on other items and goods, such as cowboy hats, leather handbags and various accessories that stand out.
