In the Square Mile of the City of London, in the area of the best suits and pints, has come an urban resort. Inspired by Soho House founder Nick Jones, The Ned features nine restaurants, 15 bars, a spa, two swimming pools and a members club. The building’s imposing bulk was once the headquarters of Midland Bank, and seven of its nine restaurants are arranged around the lobby’s emerald marble columns and chessboard, where the bank’s tellers used to lounge.
